Everything you need to know about memberships, classes, personal training, nutrition coaching, and getting started at our gym.
What Is The Strip Barbell?
The Strip Barbell is an independent, premium open gym — a fully equipped, 24/7 training facility designed for serious athletes and everyday gym-goers who want more than a commercial gym can offer. There are no classes, no schedules to follow, and no one telling you what to do. You train on your own program, at your own pace, on your own time. What you get is access to one of the most thoughtfully curated equipment collections in Las Vegas, recovery amenities built into your membership, and a facility that’s available every single day of the year — including holidays.
If you take your training seriously — or you’re ready to start — The Strip Barbell was built for you. Our members include competitive powerlifters, Olympic weightlifters, bodybuilders, CrossFit athletes, HYROX competitors, and people focused on body sculpting, calisthenics, or simply building a consistent gym habit with premium equipment. We don’t specialize in one style of training. We specialize in not specializing — so whatever your goal, you’ll find everything you need under one roof.
Neither — and that’s the point. The Strip Barbell is an open gym concept: no classes, no required programming, no group workout format. It shares a building with The Strip CrossFit and Tread Vegas Fitness (our sister brands next door), but The Strip Barbell itself is an independent training space. If you want structured, coach-led group fitness alongside your open gym access, those options are literally next door. Many of our members use all three.
Commercial gyms are built to look impressive in a brochure. The Strip Barbell is built to actually train in. Every piece of equipment was hand-selected — curated in direct collaboration with Dr. Mike Israetel and Jared Feather from RP Strength (Renaissance Periodization), two of the most respected names in evidence-based training. The brands on our floor — Rogue, Atlantis, Prime Fitness, and BootyBuilder — represent the top tier of what’s available anywhere. This isn’t a warehouse full of whatever was cheapest. It’s a deliberate, performance-focused environment.
Equipment & Facility
Our equipment selection is premium, intentional, and built to support any training style. The floor features Rogue strength and barbell equipment, Atlantis machines, Prime Fitness cable and resistance machines, and BootyBuilder — all chosen for their quality, durability, and training effectiveness. Whether you’re here to squat heavy, train hypertrophy, work Olympic lifts, do accessory work, or build a full-body program, the equipment covers every need without compromise. The entire selection was curated in collaboration with Dr. Mike Israetel and Jared Feather from RP Strength to ensure it reflects the best of evidence-based training science.
The equipment was selected in direct collaboration with Dr. Mike Israetel and Jared Feather from RP Strength — the team behind Renaissance Periodization, one of the most respected evidencebased fitness organizations in the world. This wasn’t a showroom purchase. It was a deliberate process of identifying exactly what equipment produces results across training styles. That partnership is why our floor is different from what you’ll find anywhere else in Las Vegas. Every machine, every rack, every cable station was chosen because it earns its place.
All of them. Barbell lifting, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, bodybuilding, body sculpting, CrossFit-style conditioning, HYROX training, calisthenics, and general fitness — the facility is built to support serious work in any discipline. We intentionally don’t specialize in a single style, which means you can evolve your training over time without ever outgrowing the gym. Members who compete in multiple sports, shift between training focuses seasonally, or simply want the freedom to train however they want will feel completely at home.
Yes — The Strip Barbell features the ROX ROOM, a dedicated space for HYROX-specific individual training. It’s built to let athletes train the specific movements and conditioning demands of HYROX competition at their own schedule. If you’re also looking for coached HYROX group sessions, those are available next door at The Strip CrossFit — so you get both individual and group preparation options within the same building.
Every membership includes access to two Sunlighten infrared saunas — a premium recovery tool used by serious athletes for muscle recovery, cardiovascular health, and overall wellness. Shower rooms are also available on-site for post-training use (please note: towels are not provided, so bring your own). Daily-use lockers with digital locks are available during your training session. These amenities are included in your standard membership at no additional cost.
Membership & Access
We’d love to walk you through all of our current membership options, pricing, and any specials we have running — because the honest answer is that one size doesn’t always fit one person, and we want to make sure you have the full picture before making any decisions. Please reach out to us directly and a member of our team will gladly get back to you with everything you need to know. We understand that pricing is one of the first things on your mind, and we promise to be straightforward, transparent, and helpful — no pressure, no runaround.
No. Memberships are month-to-month. We believe the quality of the facility and the experience should be reason enough to stay — not a contract that locks you in. All billing terms are communicated clearly before you sign up.
The Strip Barbell is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — including weekends and holidays. The facility is fully automated, meaning access is available around the clock without requiring staff on-site. You train on your schedule, not ours. Whether you’re a 5am person or a midnight lifter, the gym is always open.
The facility is fully automated and does not require staff to be on-site for access. That’s by design — it keeps the gym available 24/7/365 without interruption. That said, our personal trainers and team are available during staffed hours for equipment orientation, programming assistance, and guided training sessions. If you have questions or need support, there’s always someone to reach.
The Strip Barbell membership covers open gym access. If you want to add structured, coach-led group classes, those are available right next door — The Strip CrossFit offers CrossFit programming and HYROX group sessions, and Tread Vegas Fitness offers high-energy group fitness classes. Many of our members combine open gym training at The Strip Barbell with classes at one or both sister brands. Reach out to discuss how to access all three.
Day Passes & Visitor Access
Yes — day passes and week passes are available for anyone who wants access without a full membership. Whether you’re visiting Las Vegas and don’t want to miss a training session, or you simply want to try the facility before committing, passes give you full access to the gym and all its amenities. The Strip Barbell is one of the best training options in the city for athletes passing through.
All passes are purchased directly through our website — there are no in-person pass sales and we do not accept cash at the facility. This keeps the access process seamless and fully automated. Visit our website, purchase your pass, and follow the instructions to access the gym. Everything is handled digitally, so you can sort it out before you even arrive.
No — all access, including day and week passes, must be purchased in advance through the website. The facility is fully automated and there is no cash payment option on-site. This is intentional: it allows the gym to operate 24/7/365 without needing staff present for every entry. Purchase your pass online ahead of your visit and you’ll be ready to walk in and train.
Pass holders get the same full access as members — all equipment, the ROX ROOM, infrared saunas, and shower rooms. Daily-use lockers are also available. It’s a complete training experience, not a restricted version of it. If you’re visiting Las Vegas and looking for a premium gym experience, The Strip Barbell is built to deliver exactly that.
Absolutely. Las Vegas attracts serious athletes from around the world, and The Strip Barbell was built to be a destination-worthy facility. The equipment selection, recovery amenities, and 24/7 availability make it one of the best independent gym options in the city. Day and week passes are easy to purchase online before your trip. If you’re also looking for coached group training while you’re here, The Strip CrossFit and Tread Vegas Fitness are right next door.
Personal Trainers & Coaching
Yes — The Strip Barbell is home to an outstanding staff of independent personal trainers available to members and guests. Whether you need a one-time equipment orientation, help building a program, or ongoing guided training sessions, our trainers can help. They bring a high level of expertise and work within our premium environment to support athletes at every level. Training with a coach here isn’t a generic gym experience — it’s personalized, professional, and takes full advantage of the equipment available.
Our trainers are available for a range of support: introduction to equipment and facility orientation, custom programming and training plan design, technique coaching and movement quality work, ongoing accountability and guided training sessions, and sport-specific preparation including HYROX. If you’re new to the gym and want to learn how to use the equipment correctly, or if you’re an experienced athlete looking for structured programming support, a session with one of our trainers is one of the best investments you can make.
Yes — and we strongly encourage it. Our personal trainers offer equipment orientations and introductory sessions specifically for members who are new to the facility or new to training in general. You don’t need to wander around figuring things out on your own. One session with a trainer will give you a clear understanding of the equipment, a starting point for your programming, and the confidence to train on your own going forward. Reach out through the website or ask at the front during staffed hours to get connected with the right trainer.
The Strip Barbell features the ROX ROOM for individual HYROX-specific training, and our personal trainers are available for HYROX-focused programming and coaching. For coached group HYROX sessions, those are offered next door at The Strip CrossFit — giving HYROX athletes a complete preparation environment both individually and as part of a group. If you’re preparing for a HYROX event, you’ll find everything you need within our building.
Facility Amenities & Policies
Membership includes access to two Sunlighten infrared saunas — one of the most effective recovery tools available for muscle recovery, inflammation reduction, and overall wellness. Sunlighten is a premium brand trusted by elite athletes and health practitioners worldwide. Shower rooms are also available post-training. Please note that towels are not provided — bring your own. Daily-use lockers with digital locks are available for use during your training session.
Towels are not provided at The Strip Barbell — please bring your own for both the shower and the gym floor. This is a simple thing to plan for, and it keeps the facility operating at the clean, efficient standard our members expect.
We offer daily-use lockers with digital locks — no padlock required, no lock to bring from home. They’re available for use during your training session and cleared at the end of each day. They’re a convenient way to secure your belongings while you train. These are not overnight storage lockers — please make sure to clear your locker before you leave.
Yes — maintaining a premium environment is a standard we hold ourselves to. The facility is kept clean, organized, and well-stocked. We ask that all members and guests follow basic gym etiquette: re-rack weights, wipe down equipment after use, and treat the space with respect. That shared responsibility is part of what keeps The Strip Barbell a place that serious athletes want to train in.
The Strip Barbell itself is an open gym — no classes are offered within the facility. However, if you’re looking for structured, coach-led group training, you don’t need to go far. The Strip CrossFit and Tread Vegas Fitness are both located right next door, offering CrossFit programming, HYROX group sessions, and high-energy group fitness classes. It’s one of the most complete training environments available in Las Vegas, all under one roof.
Group Fitness & Sister Brands
The Strip Barbell membership covers open gym access. Group classes are offered through our sister brands — The Strip CrossFit and Tread Vegas Fitness — which are located right next door. If you want to add coached, structured classes to your training, those memberships are available separately. A lot of our members combine open gym training with classes next door, and it’s one of the best ways to build a well-rounded fitness routine.
The Strip CrossFit is our sister brand, located right next door. It’s a coach-led CrossFit gym with structured group programming, and it’s where our HYROX group training sessions are also held. If you’re an open gym member at The Strip Barbell and want to add CrossFit classes, HYROX group prep, or coached strength and conditioning, The Strip CrossFit is the natural next step. Both brands are part of the same family and operate under the same standards.
Tread Vegas Fitness is our other sister brand — also located next door — offering high-energy, coach-led group fitness classes built around cardio, conditioning, and functional movement. Tread Vegas has two locations (Las Vegas and Henderson) and is ideal for members who want the accountability and energy of a group class alongside their open gym training. Many Strip Barbell members use Tread Vegas to add variety and structure to their weekly routine.
Reach out and we’ll help you figure it out — that’s genuinely what we’re here for. The honest answer is that it depends on how you like to train. If you want to follow your own program with premium equipment and full freedom, The Strip Barbell is your home base. If you want coached group classes with structured programming, The Strip CrossFit or Tread Vegas will suit you better. And if you want the best of both — you can have that too. All three brands are in the same building, and plenty of our members use more than one.
